Google Panda Update is an update made by Google’s search results ranking algorithm. It was first released in February 2011. Panda algorithm was originally created to filter out the low-quality websites from search engine results. This update enable to make higher-quality websites for better ranking. Unlike common belief, the name “Panda” was less named after the gentle panda bear animal. Instead after Google engineer Navneet Panda, who originally developed the technology that created and implemented the algorithm update.
